Bangladesh Army Welfare Trust (AWT) is an autonomous organization run by Bangladesh Army to promote the welfare and look after the interests of serving and ex-army personnel. Bangladesh Army Welfare Trust was established in June 1998. AWT (Trading Division) is a new entity of Bangladesh Army Welfare Trust for dealing with central defense procurement of Bangladesh Armed Forces. AWT (Trading Division) received Directorate General of Defense Purchase (GDP) enlistment on 24 July 2025. The DGDP registration number is 6671. AWT is a limited company which is licensed under section 28 of the registrar of joint stock companies (RJSC) act 1994. The RJSC registration number is c-420 2598.

Trading Division will focus on identifying market opportunities, ensuring efficient supply chain management, and creating sustainable partnerships - all while maintaining the core values and discipline of AWT. Trading Division team is comprised of dedicated members from diverse background, bringing a wealth of experience and fresh perspective. AWT Trading Division will represent the potential foreign Principal and Manufacturer in Bangladesh and will act as their potential local agent.
